16 Sep News On the Vine: TEEHOUSE To Expand Its Okanagan Wine Tours
The vines are being plucked of their bounty for future vintages, as TEEHOUSE Wine Tours winds down its third successful summer season. Guests have sipped delicious wines, and have come away with stories to share and souvenirs to add to their collections. Savour the memories, as TEEHOUSE looks to the future of its Okanagan wine tours with some exciting news.
Filled to the Brim
TEEHOUSE is tooting the horn on its signature Mercedes Sprinter Passenger Van for all the positive feedback received about its wine tours this year. It’s that personalized service that has garnered TEEHOUSE, and its owner/operators’ Lynda and Arthur, a 2019 Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor®.
“We are very thankful to our guests for joining us and for sharing their experiences,” says Lynda.
While Lynda looks after the administrative side of the business as well as TEEHOUSE Bed and Breakfast, Arthur is the man behind the wheel as TEEHOUSE’s knowledgeable tour guide.
“Arthur likes going that extra mile for all TEEHOUSE guests and is very well-liked at the wineries because of his professionalism. Everywhere we bring our guests, we make sure to establish a special relationship with the winery,” says Lynda.
“This is the best wine tour I have ever been on.”
“Arthur is a fantastic host; very knowledgeable, friendly, and funny.”
Where We’ve Been
TEEHOUSE is not only known for its exceptional service, but it is also the only Kelowna wine tour company that guarantees to take its guests to both Quails’ Gate and Mission Hill estate wineries as part of its standard Kelowna wine tasting tours.
This year, TEEHOUSE also had an overwhelming response for its bachelorette and private wine tours of Kelowna.
“We surprise our guests with the opportunity to saber a bottle of sparkling wine with a tasting at The Hatch Winery in West Kelowna. This a unique way for the bride-to-be to celebrate her special event.”
The fun continues as TEEHOUSE prepares for next season.
“We want to let the people who were interested in touring with us this year know they won’t be disappointed next year,” says Lynda.
Where We’re Going
With its popularity surging, TEEHOUSE is proud to announce that it is expanding its service in 2020.
“Not only will we have two new state-of-the-art touring vans taking guests to the best wineries in the Okanagan, but we are also offering a unique wine tour to the Kelowna Lakeshore area as part of our standard package,” says Lynda.
The Lakeshore Fab 5 tour will take guests to the newly renovated CedarCreek Estate winery, which is receiving a lot of buzz for its brand-new tasting room and restaurant. The tour will also include Tantalus Vineyards, The View Winery (also offering cider tastings), The Vibrant Vine, and Summerhill Pyramid Winery.
All of TEEHOUSE’s standard wine tours include a visit to five wineries, 20 tastings (fee included), and a lunch stop (own expense) at a restaurant recommended for its cuisine and picturesque setting, plus water and snacks.
